§ 14-14. Obscene publications, exhibiting or selling to minors.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, show, display, advertise or make available to any person under the age of eighteen (18) years any photograph of any nude person, any book or magazine containing nude photographs of any person or any photograph of a person or persons indulging in lewd or suggestive poses or positions calculated or construed by reasonable minds to arouse the sexual or lascivious interests of the viewers thereof, or to sell, show, display, advertise or make available to any person under the age of eighteen (18) years any magazine, book, writing or newspaper containing any article, feature, serial or story wherein an act or uninhibited lovemaking, sexual intercourse, sodomy, cunnilingus or homosexual behavior is described, related, told or depicted; or to display any of the above on racks, counters, shelves, floors, ceilings or walls or in any other manner, way or place wherein persons under the age of eighteen (18) years entering in, upon and about such premises have access to examine, view, look at, read, browse, handle or see such items, photographs or publications freely or openly.
