§ 5-28. Same—Notice and performance of inspections.

(a)

Upon the completion of the installation of any electrical wiring, devices or equipment, it shall be the duty of the person installing same to notify the electrical inspector and the inspector shall inspect the installation within twenty-four (24) hours after notice is given.

(b)

If upon inspection it is found that any part of the installation does not comply with the provisions of this article, the inspector shall give notice of the violation to the person to whom the permit was issued.

(c)

When an installation, upon inspection, is found to comply with all the requirements of this article, the inspector shall issue a certificate of approval to the person installing the work. Such certificate shall authorize the connection of the installation to the electric service and the use of the installation.
