§ 3.09. Meeting of the city council.

The city council shall hold two (2) regular official meetings each month, and these regular meetings shall be at least two (2) weeks apart. The city council may hold as many additional special meetings as they deem necessary for the transaction of the business of the city and its citizens. All regular meetings of the city council shall be public and shall be held at the city hall or at other places within the city that will permit the attendance of the general public. Said meetings shall be held after normal business hours. The mayor and one council member or any two (2) council members may call special meetings. All meetings shall be held in accordance with the open meetings requirements within the Local Government Code.
