§ 19-35.1. Same—On school days.

  • (a)

    There shall be no parking on the following streets between the hours indicated herein on school days:

    (1)

    On Dull Averiette Street from College Street south to Sunny Lane, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (2)

    On East College Street from Old Town Alley to Wofford Street, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (3)

    On Madole Street from Carroll Street east to Dull Averiette Street, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (4)

    On Owen Street from Carroll Street east to Dull Averiette Street, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (5)

    On Royall Street from Carroll Street east to Dull Averiette Street, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (6)

    On the north side of Willowbrook Drive from its intersection with Bel Air Drive east 600 feet, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    (7)

    Dull Averiette Street, west side, beginning at the north curbline of Madole Street north to south curbline of Owen Street, 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

    (8)

    Dull Averiette Street, east side, from the south curbline of Madole Street North to north curbline of Owen Street, 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

    (9)

    West side of North Prairieville Street, beginning at 819 North Prairieville thence north to St. Joseph Street.

    (10)

    Southwest side of Robbins Road, beginning at the Southeast curb line of Laurel Road, in a Southerly direction to the Northwest curb line of East Clinton St., 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days during the normal school year.

    (11)

    Entire length of Lantana Street, 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days only, during the normal school year.

    (b)

    Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00).

Editor's note

Ord. No. O-45-95, adopted Nov. 27, 1995, enacted the parking provisions set out in subsections (7) and (8) above and provided the following: "All persons who violate the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a Class C misdemeanor and fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $200.00 for each offense." Ord. No. O-09-00, adopted Feb. 28, 2000, enacted the parking provisions set out in subsection (9) above and provided the following; "In addition, in the event a vehicle shall be illegally parked and not occupied, said vehicle shall be towed away at the owners' expense.
